The Ottawa Montessori School–École Montessori d'Ottawa (OMS/ÉMO) provides a stimulating educational environment for approximately 400 children aged 18 months to Grade 8. We offer a full academic program in both English and French, with a special emphasis on developing the full potential of each child, using demonstrated Montessori principles and techniques.

The Ottawa Montessori School is a non–profit learning community, with a parent Board, who assist the Head Director with long-term strategic planning , and is committed to the education of both English speaking and francophone children. The staff and parents form a partnership to develop, within each child, the early habits, attitudes and skills necessary to establish a lifelong joy in learning.
Our curriculum stimulates independent thinking, encourages physical growth and enriches moral development. Our environment helps children reach their goals at their own pace. At the same time, it preserves children's natural joy in learning, whether they are working, playing, studying or exploring.
